This was one of my favorite engagement sessions I did a while back at Phipps Conservatory and Botanical Gardens and but never got a chance to blog (And it deserves a spot!)
With every engagement session I send out a questionnaire that asks some adorable questions so I can get to know a little more about them as a couple. This brings me into their lives so I can capture their relationship and how they interact with each other a little better... Plus it gives me some really cute blog content! 🤍
I asked how they met? And this is what they said:
Back story: We both went to the same high school and knew of each other (Jack claims I was always on his radar). I was a year older in school ....that's right... a cougar by 3 months ;) lol! We reconnected about 8 years later at a summer soccer camp we coached together.
Brittany's Version: I totally put the moves on him and flirted by giving him random little sauce packets (jack snickers and says... you heard her right "sauce" packets, that's what the kids are calling it these days) from Taco Bell throughout the week that had quotes written on it such as, "why say no when you can say yes?" , "If you never do, you'll never know" , "You have chosen wisely". He was heading to Ocean City Maryland with friends for the 4th of July, and drove back early for our first date. We had a lot of laughs throughout that summer and I remember saying to him as a more rhetorical statement, “we’re going to have a lot of fun together aren’t we.” We very much have and will continue to ☺
Jack's Version: I had her right where I wanted her, thinking it was her idea when really I had been putting out the vibe for over a decade high school. I had been coaching a group of young boys at camp and throughout the sessions would send them over to Coach Brittany's group to sing songs about love to her.
Aren't they are just the cutest? I love plants and. Phipps sure does have a bunch! I am so excited to be shooting a few weddings there this year!
