I was so excited when Kalena and Damien reached out to me to shoot their wedding. When Karlena told me "I want our wedding to look like a Christmas Hallmark movie" I couldn't wait to see how she decorated her venue- She did NOT disappoint and her vision was beautiful!
From the decor, to her snow queen dress, to the red and green uplighting- it was exactly what she was hoping for!
We met online during the pandemic! Before meeting, both of us had changed our distance to only a couple miles from our location. But when we matched we realized we lived an hour apart! It was meant to be ❤️
Can you tell me about the proposal?
He took me to my favorite historical site, Meadowcroft. He had been planning it for months! He had bought a metal sign that said "will you marry me" and the workers helped him place it in the blacksmith shop before we got there. The blacksmith worker was showing us the tools he forged that morning then he handed me the sign Damien had planted there and had me unwrap it. Next thing I know, Damien was on one knee asking me to marry him :)
Finish this sentence: Love is never having to…
"Love is never having to… Buy your own t-shirt because your fiancé has a closet full of t-shirts in the perfect comfy size." - Karlena
"Love is not caring that you can never find a t-shirt to wear because your fiancée has worn them all" - Damien
lol! aren't they adorable!
And can we just talk about this dress for a second?! So stunning with her beautiful blonde hair!
You know I had to make her do a spin... And then the wind caught the veil- chefs kiss!
Thank you both so much for asking me to be your wedding photographer- I had such a great time working with you two!
